47% Chardonnay, 38% Pinot Noir, 15% Pinot Meunier. Some richer bakery tones, appley but not too obvious, with lovely ripe candied lemon and softly-caramelised pear. Then there’s this little bit of lively white pepper spice; something distinctive. The best of 2014, properly filled out on the palate, progressing with perfect harmony of creamy mousse and fine acidity. Expect more good things.
