Rosé 2014 (52% Pinot Noir, 32% Chardonnay, 16% Pinot Meunier) is showing very well as of autumn 2019, just warming up into some life post-disgorgement. Classic English crabapple jelly on toasted brown bread with some sweet butter and developing spice notes. Candied strawberries too – great nose! Acid is centre-stage but welcome, with some finesse on the palate as well as some tangy apple zip and focus from the Chardonnay.
Once again much better than at Vineyards of Hampshire in Jan.
