Tasted just pre-release. Once again the 2015 vintage is looking immensely promising here. This has only been disgorged for 3 months, but that transparency reveals a beautiful fruit intensity of apricot, grapefruit and some tropical fruit touched by warm anise and spice. There’s a gorgeous clarity of flavour and complete, start-to-finish texture with more finesse than the 2013. It is just awaiting the onset of some buttery bakery tones with some age. Serious potential – I would wait until mid-2020 to broach this and then be in no rush whatsoever.
