Blanc de Noirs 2013 (70% Pinot Noir, 30 % Pinot Meunier) has some of the same tones as the 2013 Blanc de Blancs; Henry mused about nutrient stress, which was interesting. Meaty, almost marmite-like savour surrounds some fudgey cashew and blackberry fruit; toasted almonds add to the developed feel of this wine, but it is still elegant and long.
