60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay) is a little more golden in tone, with floral honey and subtle roasted nuts, ripe lemon, quince and just a little red berry Pinot fruit. It has a lovely crystalline clarity again, but with air some complexity and development comes from dried ceps and caramelised pears. Intriguing, delicious stuff that keeps drawing you in. Not as harmonious or pristine as the Blanc de Blancs, though.
